FUTURE FARM

MY SECOND LIFE
That’s me: a second chance to begin again with all I’ve learned.
Now I’m all about living stress-free, helping friends with their business and streaming dreams, diving back into gaming, & cultivating some Top-Secret stuff to make a real difference in a lot of peoples lives. I’m having fun and always looking to connect with new friends.
Thanks for stopping by my Farm & watching some of my work & play. Send me a message. Let's collaborate!
AGED SINCE
LAB 601 BATCH

THE LONG VERSION
SEED
Born and raised in South Florida, I studied Film and Television at Auburn University. I led the production crew for the Educational Television Department, making documentary programming for PBS and extension learning, and worked football broadcasts as camera operator and technical director.
SPROUT
I moved to Atlanta as an online editor at one of the largest post facilities in the city, and quickly saw there was a better way to work with digital media than the linear workflows of the day.
GROWTH
I started my own company to fuse nonlinear workflows with top creative talent. Over the next 15 years we became development partners with AVID, Boris, Imagineer, Adobe and many more.
HARVEST
LAB 601 was re-branded Labtopia Farms, known worldwide for future-forward work in visual effects, colour correction, stereoscopic 3D and nonlinear post.
SECOND PLANTING
After years on the road promoting my Unsinkable Floating Drink Holder, the THIRST MATE, medical issues stopped me. After almost a year of dying, with only days to spare, a Second Life was gifted. On the Eve of Xmas 2019, a generous unknown family in tragic loss, a donation, a match, a new life, a double transplant.
PERENNIAL
I live sustainably in a vintage Airstream with my cats TiKi-TiKa and Bongo, streaming, gaming and building. Stay tuned for chapter two: “My Second Half-Life.”

WHAT THE FARM STANDS ON
A second chance teaches you what matters. Everything on this farm, the films, the games, the gadgets and the gardens, starts from four things.
GOOD SOIL
Say what’s true, do what you said you’d do, and give credit where it’s due.
CROP ROTATION
Live lightly. Build things that last, reuse what you can, and leave the land better than you found it.
CROSS-POLLINATION
Nobody gets through this alone. Help friends build their dreams, and let them help you build yours.
WHOLE ECOSYSTEM
People, animals, land, water, technology: it’s all connected, and all of it deserves respect.
